Conduct Guidelines

While participating in KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips, we represent the Lord Jesus Christ, KACH, and the public perception of homeschoolers, in general. We will be judged by our actions, attitudes, behavior, and dress. To be proper representatives, the following guidelines will be followed while participating in KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.

  • Member families will act in such a way that their words and actions promote the unity and encouragement of other KACH families.
  • Member families will avoid acting in such a way that is considered disrespectful, offensive, immoral, intimidating, rude, or in any way which may bring reproach on KACH or home education.
  • Adults and children will abide by the KACH Dress Code.
There is to be no dating or dating behavior at KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
  • Member families will be responsible for their own children’s behavior to ensure they are acting in accordance with these guidelines.
  • Member families will be responsible for their care of any materials, supplies, and locations of any KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
  • Member families will be responsible for helping clean up at the end of any KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
  • Any members or leaders of KACH who persist in violating these conduct guidelines are considered to be conducting themselves in a way that is contrary to the specific and primary purposes of KACH. In such an event, the KACH board will take disciplinary action, which may or may not include revoking the offending members’ memberships and forfeiture of membership fees.
