While participating in KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips, we represent the Lord Jesus Christ, KACH, and the public perception of homeschoolers, in general. To be proper representatives these guidelines will be followed while participating in KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
- Member families will act in such a way that their words and actions promote unity and encouragement of other KACH families.
- Member families will avoid acting and speaking in such a way that is considered disrespectful, offensive, immoral, deviant, intimidating, rude, or in any way which may bring reproach on KACH or home education.
- Adults and children will abide by the KACH Dress Code.
- There is to be no dating or dating behavior at KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
- Member families will be responsible for their own children’s behavior to ensure they are acting in accordance with these guidelines.
- Member families will be responsible for the care of materials, supplies, and locations of any KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
- Member families will be responsible for helping clean up at the end of any KACH meetings, events, activities, or field trips.
- Any members or leaders of KACH who persist in violating these conduct guidelines are considered to be conducting themselves in a way that is contrary to the specific and primary purposes of KACH. In such an event, the KACH board will take disciplinary action, which may or may not include revoking the offending members’ memberships and forfeiture of membership fees.
The KACH Dress Code applies to all meetings, events, activities, and field trips; for male and female adults and children.
- Members of KACH should be aware that clothing can reflect an individual’s morality and modesty.
- Bare midriffs and sheer clothing are not acceptable. Please avoid spaghetti straps or low-cut shirts. Undergarments should not be visible.
- Shorts should have at least a 3″ inseam. Preferably, dresses and skirts should be no shorter than fingertip length when hands are at your sides.
- T-shirt slogans should be appropriate for a church setting. Undershirts should not be worn in place of a regular shirt.
